Ingredients
Dalia (Wheat or Barley) - 1 Cup
Peas - 1/2 cup
Carrot - 1
Cauliflower - 1/2 cup sliced
Capsicum - 4-5 slices
Bell pepper - 4-5 pieces
Onion - 1 chopped
Oil or desi ghee - 1 Tb spoon
Method
Roast dry Dalia without oil in Karahi (wok) on slow to medium flame.
Pour in a pressure cooker and add three times water and a little salt
Cook till 5 to 7 minutes in a pressure cooker.
Add ghee in a karahi and saute chopped onion.
Add all the chopped vegetables add salt.
Mix well and cover with a lid.
Cook on slow flame for 4-5 minutes till vegetables become tender.
Add black pepper and cooked Dalia and mix well.
Serve hot (with ketchup) as per your taste.
Note You can roast Dalia in advance or can purchase roasted Dalia and can store it.
