Ingredients
Makhana (Fox Nuts) - 2 cups
Coconut Powder - 1/2 Cup
Dates - 10-15 pieces Or Jaggery - 1/2 cup
Milk powder - 2 tbsp
Milk - 1/2 cup
Butter - 1 tsp
Nuts/Dried fruit - To Taste
Method
Roast Makhana in 1 tsp butter and keep aside.
Roast Coconut powder for 2 mins. Keep Aside.
Roast Dry Nuts like cashews, almonds. pistachios as per your taste and crush.
Soak dates in 2 Tbsp of Milk for 1 hour. If using Jaggery - powder the same.
Grind the dates in food processor. Once ready, add roasted Makhana and grind again.
Once dates and Makhana are mixed well, add the crushed dry nuts. and grind for another 1-2 min so everything is mixed well.
Take the material out of the processor and mix milk powder and make a dough.
Using milk form balls (Ladoos) of the desired size.
Coat the ladoos with dry coconut powder.
Enjoy for instant energy and warmth on a cold day !
