Ragi Uttapam

Ingredients

  1. Ragi Flour - 1/2 Cup

  2. Suji - 1/2 Cup

  3. Plain Curd - 1/2 cup

  4. Onion - 1 finely chopped

  5. Carrot - 1 finely chopped

  6. Red, Green, Yellow bell peppers - 1/4th each finely chopped

  7. Beans - 5-6 - finely chopped

  8. Green Chilli - 1-2 chopped

  9. Coriander Leaves - 1/2 tsp finely chopped

  10. Chat Masala - Optional (To Taste)

  11. Salt - To Taste

  12. Black Pepper - To Taste

 

Method

  1. Mix Ragi Flour, Suji and Curd with some water to make s running batter.

  2. Rest the batter for ~15 mins.

  3. Add finely chopped vegetables, Fresh Coriander leaves and Green chillis Salt and Black Pepper to taste.

  4. Mix well for 4-5 mins.

  5. Heat a Dosa Tava / Flat skillet and grease with oil

  6. Pour the batter on a hot Tava to make a circular shape like a Cheela or Pancake

  7. Cook each side by covering the Uttapam. Ensure heat stays on slow-medium. It will take 4-5 mins on each side.

  8. Serve warm.
