Sattu Barfi

Ingredients

  1. Sattu flour-1Cup

  2. Mawa-100 gms or Milk powder-2 tablespoons

  3. Milk-1/2 cup

  4. Sugar-1/2 cup

  5. Cardamom powder-1 teaspoon

  6. Chopped Dry fruits-As per taste

  7. Desi Ghee-1 teaspoon


 

Method

  1. Heat a frying pan.

  2. Heat desi ghee and add 1/2cup milk to the pan.

  3. If you Milk powerder - Add 2 Tbsp of milk powder and stir well, Roast for 2 to 3 minutes and mawa is ready. Or use readymade mawa .

  4. Add 1/2 cup of sugar in the mawa and stir well on slow flame till sugar dissolves.

  5. Add 1 cup of sattu powder and mix well.

  6. Add cardamom powder and some of the dry fruits.

  7. Pour the mixture on a greased plate with parchment paper and spread evenly.

  8. Spread finely chopped dry fruit and garnish.

  9. Let the mixture cool and cut in the desired shape.
