Ingredients
Thick Peel of Watermelon Chopped-1 Cup
Sugar-1 Cup
Beet Root-1 Small piece
Orange-4-5 pieces
Method
Remove any red flesh of the Watermelon from the peel.
Remove the dark green skin of the watermelon so that only the think white peel remains.
Cut the peel into cubes of 1 cm size and wash thoroughly.
Boil the cubes in water till they become transparent.
Drain out water completely.
Now make sugar syrup by adding 1 cup water in 1 cup sugar and cook till the mixture becomes litter thick.
Add these cubes to this mixture and cook for 8-10 minutes on a slow flame till these cubes become glazy.
Remove from flame and Divide the mixture into three parts.
Add 4-5 drops of Beetroot juice in one portion, and mix.
Add orange juice concentrate in 2nd portion and mix
Leave the third portion as such.
Leave the cubes soaked in this colored syrup for 3-4 hours.
Now drain the Syrup completely and let these cubes dry before storing.
You can use this Tutti Fruitti- in cakes and ice creams !
