Wheat Momos

Ingredients

  1. Wheat flour

  2. Salt

  3. Oil - 1 tsp

  4. Water for Kneading

  5. Garlic - 1 clove

  6. Onion -1 finely chopped

  7. Finely chopped veges for filling - Capsicums, Cabbage, bell pepper,

  8. Soya sauce - 1Tbsp

  9. Chilli Sauce - 1Tbsp

  10. Tomato Sauce/Ketchup - 1Tbsp

  11. White vinegar - 1.5 Tbsp

  12. Black Pepper - to taste.

 

Method

  1. Knead normal wheat flour with a pinch of salt, oil and water and Keep Aside.

  2. Saute chopped garlic, onion and veggies with salt on low-medium flame till tender.

  3. Add Chilli sauce, Soya sauce, Tomato Sauce. Mix well and remove from heat.

  4. Add White vinegar and some Black pepper to the filling. Mix well.

  5. Divide the dough into small balls and roll thin circles.

  6. Add Spoonful filling in the centre and give the desired shape.

  7. Steam in an Idli maker or any other Steamer.

  8. Serve with Ketchup Or Chilli sauce.
